No Lion Dance

I can't seem to find any lion dance in Hong Kong!
I did find this display in a mall though! Look at all the lion heads!

I was visiting my relative's friends' apartment on the 23rd foor and looked out the window to find this park! Perfect place to practice parkour! First I gotta get in shape...then I'm going to train and come back, find out what I can do! Gotta take advantage of Hong Kong's urban cityscape before I go home.
This is what i had for dinner! I don't know what it is XD It seems like a shrimpy-crawfishy-lobstery kind of buggy shellfish. It's delicious! hard to peel though!

Wandering

Today I went wandering!
Hong Kong is permanently under construction. This truck was trying to move those sticks on a slope and the truck was TIPPING OVER. It was really scary. The workers were totally unfazed though. And every time, the truck made it back to the ground.
Such a beautiful day! This is my ocean view apartment ;)

Sushi Wednesdays!

My roommate, Clarissa, and I have gotten into the habit of going out to dinner after our tutorial on Wednesdays.
Somehow, we've always got a craving for sushi! We both share a similar love for fatty salmon belly sashimi! Today we decided to try some other stuff, too. It was delicious! The sushi in Hong Kong is relatively cheap compared to California.

Queen Mary Hospital

The closest eatery to my lovely building is the hospital canteen! The food is on the tasteless side; it lacks salt because it's probably much healthier! This is my braised chicken and potato. =)

The hunt for ramen!

I went to this local ramen place just on a whim. It was empty besides a couple, which wasn't a good sign...but it was a really odd hour for eating, so I took a chance.
The ramen was kind of small and not the best I ever had...but the noodles were perfectly firm!

Cooking at home!

I've been going out to eat almost all the time, so today I decided to eat in.

I love being close to the wet markets where I can buy my favorite Chinese vegetables and lots of fish balls to make an easy dinner!

No, they don't beat you with a fish. You stick your feet into water and they eat the dead skin off your feet.
