Thailand is Famous For Ladyboys [Pattaya, Thailand]

We decided to spend the second day outside of Bangkok! Today we were journeying to Pattaya!

When we got in the taxi...man were we surprised! This is a rare and famous karaoke money taxi. The entire taxi is covered in coins and bills of currency from all around the world!

There's a little television and microphones for you to do karaoke with! The driver put in some DVD recordings of him being interviewed by the news, haha! The driver was so cute.

Basic warnings for taxi. no animals, no guns, no sex, no durian, no smoking. Hahaha!
Rolling in dough!

There's a lot of waffle stalls around. So tasty!
Fried hot dog wontons in sweet chili sauce! SO GOOD.

We arrived in Pattaya after a two hour bus ride and promptly got on a pick up truck to take us to the beach!

My lunch set! My tom yum goong and pineapple shake =)

The beach was kinda pretty!

Pattaya wasn't super exciting. It's a beach resort town, so not too interesting for us.

Beautiful sunset!
This was a funny find. It's a BIG DICK bread with SAUSAGE inside. Of course it costs 69 baht ;)

Really delicious chicken rice and pineapple smoothie! I LOVE chicken rice! The soup was also delicious.

Thailand is really famous for ladyboys. What's a lady boy? Well, the top is a lady...the bottom is a boy, if you get my drift, haha.
Some people in our group went to see a ladyboy cabaret! I wanted to go see it but it costs too much money for me.

Thailand actually has a thriving sex industry...especially sex tourism. Because I had heard of this, I thought prostitution was legal, but it's actually illegal.
But there are so many prostitute streets and sex shows. We were often offered tickets to donkey shows and ping pong shows, etc. (I don't think you want to know what a ping pong show is)

We walked down a prostitute street in Pattaya at night. Well, they might not have necessarily been prostitutes, they could have been just strippers or they could just work for drinks. But basically it was a street of clubs, with tons of women standing outside cat-calling to the boys.
We actually had a big group of boys, so the ladies gave them a lot of attention.

Poor Masa, a girl came up from behind him and snatched his hat! Then she quickly ran into a club. Poor Masa didn't know whether or not he should go into the club to retrieve his hat; it could be really scary in there! I was wondering if I should go help him (I'm a girl so I would be safe). But I was too scared! Eventually Victor went to help him.

David was also attacked. He got his junk grabbed and a girl flashed him her underparts! Maybe it's for her to show him that she's indeed a girl, hahaha!

We were pretty tired of Pattaya by the time we had fun. Had good food though!
